WE ARE BEING VISITED BY ACORN FARM FOR THE DAY

Our Parent/Child support group is going from strength to strength.

On Monday 3rd March we will be having a visit at Dingle Lane Children's Centre from Maisy & Muriel the sheep, pygmy goats, rabbits, baby chicks, hens and ducks.

Members of Down Syndrome Liverpool are welcome to come along and join in the fun. It all starts at 1.30pm with refreshments provided.

Don't forget our new venue is Dingle Lane Children's Centre, Matthew Arnold School, Dingle, L8 9UB.

Just a quick note to remind everyone about the race night this Saturday at St Anthony of Padua L18.

It will help raise funds for Downs Syndrome Liverpool so we can have our Halloween party and Christmas party.

Just to let you know Shauna is auditioning on Sunday for the "Wiz" at the Liverpool Empire.Hope this encourages other parents to get their children with DS involved in mainstream activities.

If Shauna gets in, the committee are going to have to put up with Michael Jackson songs form now until August!

I think we can put up with a bit of MJ as a consequence! Shauna is a real inspiration for us parents with younger Down's children.
