Today is Charlotte's last day at nursery.
In previous blog entries I have wrote how Charlotte loves MAPS and how the staff have been brilliant with her ever since her first day three years ago. In fact Charlotte was one of the first children to attend the newly opened nursery, so today will be a sad experience not just for Charlotte but the staff that have worked with her.
W recommended MAPS to my sister when she was looking for somewhere to place her eight month old daughter - she now attends the nursery too.
The nursery works closely alongside Matthew Arnold Primary School and it is there that Charlotte will take her first tentative steps into 'big school' - tomorrow!
So, it will be quite an emotional week in our house. One door closing, another bigger door opening on an educational journey that will be a little different yet all the more fulfilling ...
