What to buy the 4 year old with ALMOST everything?

Posted by Thomas Regan on June 29, 2007 1:59 PM |

Up the wall (quite literally) with this party - still.

Having completed emulsioning the through lounge, attentions are now turned to the problem which faces every parent: 'what do you buy a child who has everything...?'

Charlotte has more clothes than Donatella Versace, her toy box is overflowing and she's too young for a Sony Playstation 3 (damn)!

People keep ringing us with the question, 'what can we buy Charlotte?' Three kids on and I'm struggling to give them an answer they are looking for!

I was thinking of putting money in her child trust fund but how does a four year old unwrap that? I'd miss seeing her little face light up when faced with loads of presents if I went for that option.

If anyone reading this has any ideas, I'd love to know?

Maybe I could get her some garden play stuff like a slide or climbing frame. This would be good as this wouldn't be kept at home - it would have to go to my mums as i don't have the luxury of a garden!!

Now where's that Argos catalogue?

Slide, play tents, floor number jigsaws, and now a swing to add to the ever growing garden toys here for Lottie, not forgetting the 2 goals, hockey sticks and balls for the boys!!

But theres nothing like seeing that big smile and hearing them laugh, and shout, and knowing that no one will ask 'can we have our ball back'

I LOVE IT!!
