Just a plug for Merseyside Access To Play who hold a Parental Forum which provides support and information for disabled children and their families.
The Parental Forum offers representation from various organisations who can inform you about what is on offer both to parents and their families.
At the forum you have access to a representative from the Citizins Advice Bureau, a disability employment advisor from the job centre and advice on holistic therapies concentrating on relaxation methods (which I'm sure you will find of great benefit!).
The next session takes place on Tuesday 19th June between 10am and 1pm at Childwall Abbey School, Childwall Abbey Road, Liverpool 16.
On the agenda is where to take the children for the day trip we are planning. Merseytravel have kindly offered funding to hire an accessible bus for the trip.
