Finished painting the walls last night. Vicky will start glossing the woodwork tonight, if she pulls her finger out!
It's hardly Colleen's 21st birthday party but all this preparation is wearing me out!
Just checked the weather for Sunday and it's not looking good. The plan was to get the barbeque out but I think that will be staying firmly in the shed as it's forecast rain.
In fact, since we got the garden furniture out of the shed we haven't had any decent weather - it happened last year too. We bought the table and chairs and it poured down for about two weeks before we could sit on the things.
Anways, instead of burgers it looks like we'll have to have curry and chilli on the menu for the adults with those party ring biscuits and salmon paste sarnies for the kids!
Also we'll have to organise balloons, streamers, banners, tablecloths, paper plates and cups, spray streamers, party hats and so on...
I wish I just booked a hall now or a tour round Goodison!!
