It is our (the committee's) intention to start a second support group focused upon children aged 3 - 7 years with Down Syndrome.
The aim of this group is to have structured activities where the children will be supervised at play so their parents can have the opportunity to talk between themselves.
We feel this could be really benificial both for children and parents. We are running this as a pilot scheme over the summer holidays and with your support it is our intention to make it permanant.
We look forward to seeing you and your children but must stress that although siblings are more than welcome the activities are only aimed at children up to 7 years old.
Should you need any more information please contact Rena Wright on 0151 281 7114 or leave your details in the comment box below.

There are training organisations in Liverpool who have learners who would like to get more experience, and in some cases just experience of working with children with special needs.
To often we forget that there are individuals out there who want to support groups like this, sometimes a phone call to few providers might get the additional support needed, giving parents and carers time to get the support group and activites going.
