Chocolate-free Easter

Posted by Thomas Regan on April 10, 2007 10:00 AM |

The trouble with Easter for Charlotte is she doesn't eat food. She gets a variety of t-shirts and socks instead of the traditional chocolate egg.

Whilst her brothers tuck into a mountain of chocolate, Charlotte goes happily about her business screwing her face at the constant prodding of the stuff in her face by everybody who cares to try.

Actually, I couldn't imagine any more Easter eggs in the house, Thomas and Christopher have enough - two bin bags full...

Over the holiday we went to see the Anthony Gormley statues on Crosby beach. Thought I better take the kids out for the day as I intended to do some painting and watch the Blues over the Easter weekend.

Charlotte wasn't that keen - especially when I attempted to lift her on the shoulders of one of the iron men. By the way have you tried pushing a buggy on the beach? Impossible.

No school for Lottie today but nursery is open, so off she went this morning with her new Dora Explorer socks on!
