Chickenpox & February committee meeting

Posted by Thomas Regan on February 23, 2007 10:41 AM |

Woke up yesterday morning and went straight to the bathroom only to be alerted to shreaks of anguish from downstairs. Vicky has discovered spots on Charlotte, yes the dreaded chickenpox has struck.

Apparently it's been 'going around' nursery. It doesn't take much for Charlotte to catch any sort of virus...

Days off nursery and school invariably lead to bedlam at home - days off work are needed and normally it's Vicky who stays at home to look after the kids or Vicky's mum and dad will help out. Today it's Vicky's mum who has taken on Charlotte for the day.

Tonight is our second Down Syndrome Liverpool committee meeting of the year, I will attend whilst Vicky will stay at home and look after the baby.

On tonight's agenda is the organisation for the Irish Night we are having on 16 March. I've designed the tickets and need to get them printed, also we have just re-designed the newsletter which is near completion, so we will go over that tonight.

Looking forward to seeing what cocolate biscuits Margaret has in store for us tonight too...
